Library

The academic curriculum in 6th grade is designed to build upon the foundational knowledge acquired in elementary school and prepare students for more advanced studies in middle and high school. Core subjects typically include English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. Students will also have classes in physical education, art, and music.​​

Course Resources

Bobtown Elementary Library maintains a collection of resources, including prints as well as access to electronic database services and the Internet. We have access to the Destiny Follett School Solutions where you will find materials of interest in most subject areas for all age groups from young children to adults.

End of Course Outcomes

Bobtown Elementary Library outcomes consist of teaching students the basic processing skills necessary to connect them with information and ideas in all subject and interest areas.  Development of these skills involves the collaborative efforts of certified library media specialists, administrators, classroom teachers, computer teacher and students as active partners in the educational process, thus reinforcing the value of literacy and life-long learning.
