Student Classes
English Language Arts
Students continue to develop their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. They analyze literature, write essays, and work on grammar and vocabulary.
Mathematics
Students study algebraic concepts, geometry, and data analysis. They also work on problem-solving skills and mathematical reasoning.
Science
Students study life science, physical science, and earth and space science. They conduct experiments and learn about scientific inquiry.
Social Studies
Students study American history from the colonial period to the Civil War. They also learn about government, economics, and geography.
Electives
Students may have the opportunity to take elective courses such as art, music, foreign language, or technology.
